ACCOM: Safestay Barcelona Passeig de Gracia
From Barcelona Airport Terminal 1:
1. After baggage collection, follow signs for Aerobús.
2. Go outside to the Aerobús stop on Level 0.
3. Take the blue Aerobús A1 toward Plaça Catalunya.
4. Get off at Plaça Catalunya, the final stop.
5. Walk north along Passeig de Gràcia for approximately 8–10 minutes.
6. Safestay is at Passeig de Gràcia 33, near Casa Batlló.

- Aerobús: €7.75 one way
- Bus journey: approximately 35 minutes
- Walk: approximately 8–10 minutes
- Total after boarding: around 45–50 minutes

● (6:40AM) MORNING 5K RUN: Head to Passeig de Gràcia metro station
Get the: T-casual ticket: €13 for 10 journeys across your stay
- Take L4 toward La Pau.
- Exit at Ciutadella–Vila Olímpica.
- Walk toward Port Olímpic.
- Use the twin towers and golden-fish sculpture as landmarks.
● Optional recovery swim: Nova Icària or Bogatell Beach
● Breakfast near the beach then return
Late Morning: Gothic Quarter Walking Route
11:00 — Leave Safestay
Follow this walking route:
Safestay
→ Plaça Catalunya
→ La Rambla
→ La Boqueria exterior
→ Plaça Reial
→ Gothic Quarter
→ Barcelona Cathedral exterior
→ Carrer del Bisbe
→ Plaça del Rei
→ El Born
La Boqueria is closed on Sunday, so save the operating-market visit for Monday. The Cathedral is an exterior stop only, so there is no need to wait for tourist admission.
13:00–14:00 — Lunch in El Born
Eat near the Picasso Museum so you do not need to rush afterward.
14:15 — Arrive at the Picasso Museum
Have the free ticket and identification ready.
14:30–16:00 — Museu Picasso Barcelona
Allow approximately 75–90 minutes for the collection.
Late Afternoon: Sagrada Família and Sant Pau
● 16:00–16:30 — Travel to Sagrada Família
- Walk to Jaume I metro station.
- Take L4 toward Trinitat Nova.
- Exit at Verdaguer.
- Transfer to L5 toward Vall d’Hebron.
Exit at Sagrada Família.
● 16:30–17:10 — Sagrada Família exterior

No admission ticket is needed.
● 17:10–17:35 — Walk along Avinguda de Gaudí
Continue toward the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau.
● 17:35–18:00 — Sant Pau exterior
View the main entrance and Modernist pavilions from outside.
Evening: Bunkers del Carmel
● 18:00–18:25 — Travel to the Bunkers
- A taxi is recommended from Sant Pau because the final approach is uphill and the viewpoint closes at approximately 19:30.
- Public transportation is possible but leaves less time at the viewpoint.
18:25–19:15 — Bunkers del Carmel
Explore:
- Turó de la Rovira viewpoint
- Former anti-aircraft battery
- Panoramic views across Barcelona
- Begin leaving by 19:15 so you are not caught by the controlled closing time.
After 19:15 — Dinner in Gràcia
Travel downhill toward Gràcia for dinner, then return to Safestay.
